On behalf of the Hellenic Federation of Speleology (FHS) we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 11th Balkan Cavers Camp which will be hosted by the 20th Hellenic Speleological Meeting. This common event will be held from August 27th to September 3rd, 2017 in Leonidio, Peloponnesus, Greece.
Leonidio is a town built between Mount Parnonas and Myrtoan Sea. Above the town there is an impressive 250m red limestone cliff. Important caves in the area that you can visit are: Propantes, a vertical cave explored up to -360m, Dersios (- 170m) and Peleta (-670m), Mana an underground river of 870m in length and many other horizontal, vertical and littoral (sea) caves.
